When I turned 34, I made a decision to devout time to becoming in better health. I joined a gym and hired a personal trainer. I trained for 5 years, with ok results, but no real change in strength nor a big difference in physical appearance. I ended up stopping, deciding to ‘do it on my own’. Eight months later, when that was not working either, my husband introduced me to Chazz. My first meeting with Chazz was for an initial consultation where he explained his practical experience on wellness. At the time of this writing, Chazz has been training me for almost 5 months. With the training sessions, coupled with his counsel on correct portions of caloric intake, I am now experiencing a dramatic increase in my level of strength. My physical appearance is the best it has been since I was 20, and for the first time I am developing some good solid [discernible!] muscle tone. Chazz’s challenge to stay on course and the encouragement I get by seeing the results have proven to me that this is the only way to attain the overall wellness in my life that I need.

I have always had the school of thought that the ‘best plan is no plan’. This philosophy spilled over into my idea on physical fitness too. I like basketball and would play when I could. I attempted to work with a couple of different trainers and groups of friends but never could get it to be a routine. As far as food is concerned, I believed I was doing well on my calories by not eating all day and just having one meal at night. I was about 30 lbs overweight when I met Chazz through a good friend of mine. I have always battled with weight fluctuations and Chazz’s matter of fact first meeting with me was that my overall wellness success would depend on 2 major things: 1) that I make a plan for a 6 day a week workout routine and 2) that I make a plan for how I eat. Plan? It took a few months into the routine to start seeing some great results. I have dropped 4 inches around my mid-section and am now in a 34! At this point, it has come time for the second half of the equation. I needed to begin planning my food intake. I am now ready for the challenge and have started on that part recently. Chazz has been so great as he knew how to work with me slowly to bring me around to embracing the counsel he gives. Had he attacked all angles at the beginning, I probably would of quit as I would of been overwhelmed by all the changes at once. He has been such a stable influence in my life, focusing me on physical health and how that transcends into really all of life’s issues. I am proud to know him, respect his ability to coach me when no one else could, and consider him a good friend.

I’m 45 years-old and have been weight training for 24 years. I have never missed more than one week of weight training since I was 21 years old! I did notice that over the last 10 years I lost my “mojo”. I was training with less intensity, doing too much cardio, and not eating enough. All in an effort to be “super” lean. But it was not working. I have known Chazz for about 15 years, and we started training about 9 months ago. With his guidance, help, and motivation, my workouts have a new life. I am lifting heavier than ever, eating more, and I am probably at my leanest ever. Chazz has incredible knowledge of fitness, and is extremely motivating.
Thank you, Chazz!
