I
started my day at the usual time and put in my 25 minutes
of cardio. For the past couple of weeks, while I’m
doing my cardio, I’ve been listening to Survivor’s
Greatest Hits CD which has two of the theme songs from
the Rocky movies. When I start to get tired and think
I can’t go on, I think about these lyrics in one
of the songs “In the warrior’s code there’s
no surrender though his body says stop his spirit cries
never...victory is yours alone.” Those words are
enough to push me further. It’s a great feeling
when you finish something where most will quit. For
the remainder of my gym time I spent 50 minutes working
out my chest.

At
2:40 I was interviewed by one of St. Louis’ largest
radio stations, 97.1 The Dave Glover Show. And shortly
thereafter I started receiving emails from listeners
that were excited about the simplistic information regarding
health and fitness that I was passing on. One listener
in particular, a woman approaching 40 years old, who
wants to lose another 40 pounds. She was fed up with
all the diet and exercise information she had been receiving
and was thrilled with the easy to understand approach
to health and fitness that I was speaking of. This is
the reason why we started Truth in Fitness, a non-profit
corporation, in order to help individuals like her.
In the next few weeks we will be posting information
on how an individual can achieve his or her personal
goals regarding health and fitness.

Additional
Comments: For the past few day’s I’ve
upped my calories to compensate for the few pounds that
I’ve lost. However, next week I’ll start
reducing my daily number of calories because at this
calorie level I will start to accumulate fat on my body.
